This was my fun day! Went with my brother, sister and 14yr old son.
Spent the entire time in the pit 4 people deep. Lots of crowd noise
and singing, myself included. Had a technical difficulty and missed
the first 6 songs. Master of Puppets is also cut in the middle. I was
fighting for a giant M72 ball and the recorder fell out of my pocket
and the batteries fell out. It was totally worth it as I was able to
snag it. This is not my best recording but like I said it was my fun day
without my 9yr old and i wanted to get up in there and enjoy the show.
Metallica sounded so good, its hard to believe they are in their 60s.
Setlist was awesome and the Shadows Follow debut a huge highlight for me.

This was my laid back day! Went with my mother, and 2 sons (9 and 14)
Hung back in the end zone near the soundboard. The bass and especially
the bass drum were brutal. Luckily I had my mic input low enough that it
didnt blow out. Took a bit to master that out as you couldnt listen to
it very loud as it was.
Metallica sounded great again with another killer setlist and another
debut with Too Far Gone?. Might have to take a road trip for the 2024
US leg. These 2 shows are among my favorites.
