This recording found it's way to me from a long time buddy/collector via a portable HD.

The HD contains a good 50-75 shows from Wolf Trap from about 2010 - 2013

I have found NONE of these to be in circulation, nor have I found many to have been recorded via any other source.

So I would regard these as very unique.

I can conclude that almost all of these recordings (if not all) were recorded via ALD.

They are all Mono, and many of the recordings have various stages of Clipping.

It's not clear if the clipping is only in the copies I received or are on the original files (which I had no access to)

Without overly enhancing or destroying the recordings, I have done the best I could to master them and put them out.

I would welcome any input on the history of these recordings or anything else that someone could enlighten me on their origin.

Additional Notes:

Nice recording, with only a little clipping.

Unfortunately 'Born On The Bayou' is missing (thus the reason the track file starts at track 02).

Recording begins just as they go into 'Green River'.

The start was a little bit rough, but I was able to repair most of it.

About :20 into 'Green River' the recording fades out for 5 1/2 seconds. I opted to leave the 'dead air' instead of removing it, in order to keep the continuity of the song... (so you have to sing that part to yourself).

'Encore Edit' (about 1:40 applause removed)

'Up Around The Bend' - Thank You Edit (about 1:50 removed while band takes bows... then says 'Vienna Virginia, Thank You')

Wow !!! Great GREAT show, start to finish everyone sounded great, Doug was off the wall his playing is out of this

world. Coverdale sounded fantastic, if anybody has any doubts about his voice , DON'T , he was spot on. The whole

band was really tight, Reb played great, Devins bass- hard driving, and Brians drums were solid, his solo was kick

ass. Great time, Great band , Great venue. Now go see them and buy all the merch you can so they stay around for

NOTES FROM SOAPMAN:

It was a great show and I was there with my son. We both enjoyed the show  We stood on the right side (Janick side) of the stage maybe 40-45 meters from the stage. If I had been there on my own maybe I would have moved closer to the middle but my son felt more comfortable out on the side so we stayed there. Some audience noise is heard on this recording. Some of it comes from me and there was a girl on my left side that was screaming from time to time. A talking shithead can be heard on the first couple of tracks. Can't understand why people buy a ticket if they are going to spend most of the part of the show talking to their girlfriends. Very annoying. Security should chase them instead of tapers and filmers.

This is the first time I record a liveshow. It is not a perfect recording but I really like it. It's a great memory of a great evening. I probably made most of the beginners mistakes. If you want perfect recordings stick to the official livealbums.

If you feel like burning the show to CDs I recommend you to split the set between Track 11 and Track 12
