R.J.P.(RIP). R.J.P. was a prolific archivist from Chicago whom recorded live radio broadcasts,

tv broadcasts, as well his own captures live from the audience. These are on on Reel to Reel,

Cassette, Beta, and VHS as well as hundreds of pre fm transcription discs and reels.

We will be presenting to you our transfers of the R.J.P. collection, which has been in the

possession of mike since his passing, over the coming months. There are

going to be several exciting upload to come. Many thanks go to R.J.P. for his

archiving (which date back to the 1970's) and Mike for preserving

this collection and allowing it to be presented to you here.

This is significantly brighter and crisper than other sources.

I recorded Sides A and B at the same levels, then decreased the gain for C as it would otherwise of been too loud. Sides A and B are right channel weighted and C is better balanced but the sound deteriorates. The first few minutes of side A suffers with a wandering azimuth. CWTAE cuts on side B and continues on side C.

Correction values were applied using élastique 2.28 Pro as follows:

Side A: +0.87%

Side B: +0.7%

Side C: +0.87%

My thanks to goldenband for advising on the speed. There's some slight variation between songs but we didn’t think it was necessary to meticulously tweak each song for the sake of a ~0.1% variation.

From my personal trade collection.

I know this is on the uploaded list however this is to be considered an upgrade.

Just a little background regarding the information on these 2 discs. I had originally unfortunately purchased

the VHS tape from the guy whom recorded this show back in 1987 from Canada. So this is a copy off his master

to my VHS copy and then transferred to my DVD. Hopefully it is an upgrade for most of you.

He placed the last 15 minutes of the next night in Montreal, September 14, 1987 show which the quality is not so good.

There are some out there whom have the full show of the September 14, 1987 and 1 clip from Toronto, Canada. 1987. Both shows exist.

I am actually looking for the Pink Floyd L.A. coliseum video I shot back in 1988.
