Lineage: Maxell XLII 90 cassettes (1) > JVC TD-W354 playback deck > Adobe Audition 1.5 (recording to 24/96 .wav, EQ, peak limiting, splits & fades) > Xrecode II (conversion to 16/44.1) > TLH (sector alignment, flac 8)

A great recording of a great show. Hetfield's vocals in particular are inspired this noght. The recording quality is equal to the recent official Live Metallica releases and its an sudience recording! Sure the show is full of the mediocre material from Reload, but I recommend this show. If you don't have any 98 shows this is the one to have.

The master had abrupt cuts removing the encore breaks. I've smoothed the transitions, but there are no discernable encore breaks. I've marked where they would be on the tracklist below.

01 Intro: The Ecstacy of Gold

02 Breadfan

03 Master of Puppets

04 Of Wolf and Man

Notes - A very nice sounding show on a beautiful evening. I especially like the way New World Man turned out. Geddy's bass playing was really on this night and it come through very clearly on the recording. This is the first Rush show, and probably the first show ever, that I saw something that a band member threw into the audience thrown back at them. At the beginning of the encore when Geddy and Alex took the shirts out of the washers and threw them into the crowd, someone actually threw it back at Geddy. I bet that fan is kicking himself or herself now! A special thank you goes out to ytsejammer2000 for the artwork. Wonderful job! This is the complete show minus about 15 seconds of the 3 Stoogies theme. For free trade only. This recording was produced by fans, for fans and is never to be sold. If you like this recording or similar recordings, support the artists and purchase their music!
