Another memorable night in my life as a concert-goer. Maiden tend to do that to you. ;-)

Made the mistake of relying on a buddy of mine to get tickets for the Montreal show, which he failed to do, so I called a friend in T.O. who managed to get pretty good seats there. I ended up doing a little road trip which is always fun.

Haven't been to the ACC in awhile and I gotta say I was not impressed with the sound. Every other time I've seen Maiden the sound's been much clearer and crisp. It got better after the first few songs and it was quite listenable, as you can hear from the recording.

The energy from the band was great as always. Crowd was very good too. You can hear the usual "singers", as expected at every Maiden or Alice In Chains show, singing along to choruses and favourite melodic sections. All part of the fun atmosphere.

Hope you enjoy listening to this recording as much as we enjoyed seeing the live show.

Comments: I arrived to the stadium about 10 minutes before Anthrax hit the stage, their set was recorded as well and it will be uploaded (I hope) in the near future. About the Maiden show, great show of a band that is still in shape and can give better shows than so many other 'young bands'. I think their stage set was the best in a long time, and the setlist was better than their last 'studio album' tour. The bootleg title was chosen as a personal discontent towards the audience (or at least the people that were near me), they rarely moved with the newer songs but they screamed and got all crazy about the same old classic songs. I think people here didn't give enough credit to what the band did on this last studio album.

Circulated by Nelly-Duke in November '23 (& a welcome addition to his particular catalogue), this required some work in Audacity (Amplification on Both

Channels of +1.5db overall with tweaks of -4db > +12db, Right Channel tweaks between -2.5db > +3db & Left Channel tweaks of -2.75db > +2.5db, the very

end of Track 15 & very beginning of Track 16 have respective Fades Out & In due to a tapeflip, & 15s of extraneous audience was excised from the end of

Taped on the UK leg of the '7th Tour Of A 7th Tour', this is a fairly good recording of a very good show with a partisan audience - all elements are

Notes: Very nice radio broadcast with the band and audience at highest possible mood. Crystal Cat call this relese "Give Me Ed... Til I'm Dead" European Tour 2003 and it's no overstatement, this is the show to have if you wanna get into the spirit of that tour. Bonus tracks are also radio broadcast. The bonus tracks from Stockholm 2000 have a distant hum, not serious but you can hear it non the less. I have that recording on another bootleg relese (Isn't That Wild, Black Crickets 007) with the same "problem" so I think it was something in the broadcast / radio master. Anyway beond our influence. Crystal Cat have done a good jobb mastering the recording and removed every radio talk except two jingles with band members. They did however a very poor jobb setting the splits between tracks. They were so far out I edit them with GoldWave. The way they are now is how it should be from get go. There are arguments that this is not a orginal bootleg copy anymore by that fact. If you are botherd by that, call it a stg remaster edition. I must comment on cover art also. The orginal layot is a double paper flip. I scaned and edit it with PhotoShop to fit a standard CD case. High res .png format, the image files are 26mb large alone.

Well, here it is finally. My Prague 2005 master! After so long having it in my shelf I'm releasing it. Great show, and I had even more great time with my friends in Prague. Simply amazing city. First show of the tour, with some original settings that didn't last more than couple of shows. Charlotte the Harlot is here, first time ever live on stage with Bruce, Janick and Nicko! No intro tape for Where Eagles Dare yet. Also at this show there were some foxy devil costumed girls during 666 there...

Anyways, enjoy this release!
