BEACH BOYS - "Big Sur Folk Festival 1970"

Monterey County Fairgrounds, Monterey, California

October 3rd, 1970

Very Good Audience/Soundboard Matrix

Note: I probably knew at one time if this was the afternoon or evening performance, and haven't listened to it in ages, but I recall this being a favorite of mine, certainly from 1970's shows!

* Dennis Wilson was absent from this concert tour as he was filming "Two Lane Blacktop" with James Taylor and Warren Oates.

Beach Boys touring band:

Mike Love - vocals & tambourine

Bruce Johnston - vocals, keyboards & bass guitar

Al Jardine - vocals & guitar

Carl Wilson - vocals & guitar

with

Mike Kowalski

Daryl Dragon - keyboards & vocals

FORMATO MP3

01 Wouldn't It Be Nice

02 Sloop John B

03 Country Air

04 California Girls

05 Aren't You Glad

06 Tears In The Morning

07 Wake The World

08 Vegetables

09 God Only Knows

10 Cottonfields

11 Their Hearts Were Full Of Spring

12 Riot In Cell Block #9

13 Good Vibrations

Notes:

Tracks 6 to 9 are from an audience recording and inserted into the Soundboard recording of the show so you get the entire set in the correct running order. The show contains a number of songs that were rarely played live by the Beach Boys, and are even harder to find live recordings of. This is a rip-off of Sea Of Tunes which to my knowledge never released this show (of course I could be mistaken :) ).
