Cheers and thanks go out to my mate Porgie for sharing this rip from his silvers with me, and allowing me to share it with the community.

This version is part 1 of a 2 part series, this version is strictly the audience recording.

Originally, the soundboard fragment from the next night in Detroit (July, 13th, 1973) was added on to the 3rd disc of the release.

So the release is originally like this:

Disc One:

1) Rock And Roll (Cuts In, Cut, Incomplete Song)

2) Celebration Day

3) Black Dog

4) Over The Hills And Far Away

5) Misty Mountain Hop

6) Since I've Been Loving You

7) No Quarter

8) The Song Remains The Same

9) The Rain Song

Disc Two:

1) Dazed And Confused

2) Stairway To Heaven

3) Moby Dick (Cuts Out, Cut, Incomplete Song)

4) Heartbreaker

5) Whole Lotta Love (Medley)

Includes:

- I'm Going Down

- Boogie Chillen

- I'm Going Down

Disc Three:

1) Communication Breakdown (Includes: "The Crunge")

2) The Ocean

3) Moby Dick *

4) Heartbreaker *

5) Whole Lotta Love *

6) Dancing Days *

Legend:

*: Cobo Arena, Detroit, Michigan, July, 12th, 1973, Soundboard Recording

I have unfortunately had to split the soundboard recording from this torrent because of Dime regulations and policies about adding/coupling various dates of concert performances being too excessive, or a waste to downloaders bandwidth and that it's better to let collectors have the ability to pick choose which shows they want to pick up and download.

So the audience recording will be released in it's own torrent (part 1) , and the soundboard will be released in it's own torrent (part 2).

So the best way/format to put the tracks of the audience recording would be this:

Disc One:

1) Rock And Roll (Cuts In, Cut, Incomplete Song)

2) Celebration Day

3) Black Dog

4) Over The Hills And Far Away

5) Misty Mountain Hop

6) Since I've Been Loving You

7) No Quarter

8) The Song Remains The Same

9) The Rain Song

Disc Two:

1) Dazed And Confused

2) Stairway To Heaven

Disc Three:

1) Moby Dick (Cuts Out, Cut, Incomplete Song)

2) Heartbreaker

3) Whole Lotta Love (Medley)

Includes:

- I'm Going Down

- Boogie Chillen

- I'm Going Down

4) Communication Breakdown (Includes: "The Crunge")

5) The Ocean

Enjoy!

Review About The Performance from Argenteumastrum.com:

This is one of the greatest Led Zeppelin concerts ever!

A killer show from the band, especially Jones, who's bass is particularly aggressive.

The funky jamming in Whole Lotta Love is excellent with the bass and drums working overtime while Jimmy's Theremin and Robert's shrieks battle over the cooking rhythm section!

A great version of Dazed And Confused played here too! The Ocean encore is preceded by Bonham's talk whenre he explaining that on this song he was allowed to shout.

Sounds really, really great except for some incredibly idiotic and moronic singing by the taper.

Also some stupid folks thrown few firecrackers on stage what provocated Plant to the following comment: "Don't thrown anymore firecrackers, 'cos that's silly! It breaks the concetration, of which we've got very little left."

This release is the newest offering from Wendy, a four disc set that includes the audience recording from the bands performance on July, 12th, and the soundboard recording fragment from their performance on the 13th.

This show has recently come into popularity, 2 labels have actually released this show in the past few months, Graf Zeppelin was first with their release "Detroit Rock City" (which consisted of the audience recording and the soundboard fragment) and Wendy's came afterward.

Whether Wendy had released their version as a way to either "one up" or "ride the coat tails" of Graf Zeppelin's release is uncertain, but it is rather odd that Wendy would release their version of the Detroit 73 show just a few weeks after Graf Zeppelin did.

In regards to the sound quality of this release, I personally think that this release is a very crisp, clear and well balanced sounding, much better than other bootleg versions I've heard (i.e: Lemon Song's "Detroit Rock City" or Antrabata's "Going Down To Detroit").

Hope that everyone here will enjoy this.
