This is my recording of this gig, and I know other versions of this show have been on here before but are not currently on the tracker.
I have also traded this show for the likes of Hawkwind during postal trading a number of years ago and
somewhere along the line it maight have been previously shared on here, however its not on the tracker
and this is the 1st time I've made it available on here.
Due to the Paris terrorist attacks in the days prior to this concert, there was heightened security on the door
with everyone being body searched. So consequently thanks to all tapers past and present that run the risk of
having equipment confiscated and entry barred into concerts in order to record shows that
we can all enjoy many years after the event. In the case of this gig six years after the event.
Taped in the stalls, from right hand side of mixing desk, 12 to 15 metres from the stage, in a central position.
What a great show, incredibly loud and I mean breast bone rattling loud. The new songs intergrated well with all the old
classics.
Sound quality, well you decide, its difficult to judge your own recording, but it is a Tascam DR 07 which is a great bit of kit
so 7.5 pushing 8/10 or EX pushing EX+
As always support the band by buying their LP's, CD's T Shirts and other merchandise. I have tickets to see them in Manchester
next year with Ozzy if he's well enough then.
Enjoy
