I got this one in a trade in the late 80´s.

Purple Rain is missing on my tape.

Although it´s a fantastic show, better than the 26.11.84 gig which I want to seed

first ( because " Another Lonely Christmas " was played !!! )

Don´t worry, it will be my next seed ( promised !!!!! )

I made a mistake and recorded this day on my pc instead of the day that was requested

by someone ( sorry ).

The absolutely highlight in this concert is the magnificient version of

" Baby, I´m A Star" ( 28 min. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )

COMMENT :

One of the few afternoon performances of the Purple Rain tour.

Considering this is an audience recording from 1984, the sound is surprisingly

decent. There is a fair bit of audience noise and talking - however it isn't so

distracting as to ruin the recording. The main problem with this recording is the

audible tape hiss - with headphones on, it gets quite annoying. The show itself

is a beauty. The piano medley is VERY lengthy, and includes a cool version of

'Something In The Water', along with a piano led 'Take Me With U' - as opposed

to the full band version usually played. The real highlight is 'Baby I'm A Star'

- it lasts for 28 minutes!!! I kid you not ;-) Unfortunately Purple Rain is

missing - no matter though, because this is a fabulous (even though incomplete)

show.
