Title:
My title is inspired from Neil Peart's journal chronicling
his 1988 trip through South Africa -- "The African Drum."
The journal ends with Neil writing, "In Nairobi I bought
an antique drum. A talking drum." And it goes on from
there describing how it talks to him of Africa, history,
conversation, and magic. The mention of "A Talking Drum"
is used throughout this 200+ page journal.
