Acquired as 2 separate files from 2 separate sources (Much Appreciated to Jansson & Blackheart), this has been an ongoing project for a good year
or so due to issues with each initial file - Side A (in stereo but a higher gen than Side B which was from a mono source) had severe wow & flutter
problems for the first 28 minutes or so, & eventually proved to be unworkable & so are not presented here, although the issue cleared up partway
through 'The Watcher' hence that became Track 1 (& was Amplified +4.25db to match Side B)...Side B began with 'Damage Case' but had a very
noticeable cassette noise running through the entire side (an mp3 sample below), & so I experimented very carefully with Noise Reduction to lower
the noise as much as possible without introducing artifacts or smearing the sound prior to using TLH for the conversion...
Taped on the March/April tour promoting 'Overkill', this is an excellent performance from The Three Geneticists of the Apocalypse in front of an
appreciative crowd...The onstage mix & balance are good although a little bludgeoning, & the recording reflects this (mp3 samples below) - sadly
this recording's incomplete, as the transfer (& possibly the original recording) suffered from unrepairable severe wow & flutter, however what's
left is a little boomy yet listenable when your ears tune in...The setlist is classic, deftly played alongside Lem's traditional banter, & the last
version of 'Motorhead' (Track 14) was tape filler - it's possibly from the dates noted on the tracklist, but that's based on the dj's outro
regarding The Damned playing 'here on the 9th' which (after a little research from the excellent whiterabbitskgs.co.uk site) could be either
venue...A more than reasonable volume for the library, & Remember - They were Motorhead, & They played Rock & fucking Roll - Don't forget 'em...
Md5 & ffp included...
Don't turn this to mp3, decode it to wav & burn 'em...
