Taper's Notes:
Where to begin.....It seemed right off that I wouldn't be able to wait
all the way from June 30th until Sept. 6th without a Rush show or two
inbetween and happily they put St. Louis on a Friday and Indy on a
Sunday so I decided to punish myself further with even more driving all
over the place. Once again our STL group were able to score a sweet set
of 4 tickets, switching back over to Geddy's side like we were back on
the VT tour, so our group from the 2 previous tours in STL was set! It
rained a bit in the early afternoon up until we got to the parking lot,
but even though it remained pretty muggy, it ended up being a great
evening weather wise and made for a very enjoyable show for all of us.
And yet again the band does not disappoint the STL crowd and our location
does not disappoint in the sound area, great mix and sound once again
like the previous shows had given us. Always awesome to hear Entre Nous
no matter what, but they were really on fire for many songs throughout
the night. The crowd was pretty good around us, although we did have the
"high five" group club in front of us, who we continued to mock after the
show as it got so humorous. But for being as close as we were, even though
you can definitely tell you're in the crowd, it's nothing more than normal.
The newer S&A stuff goes over well and really cranks and the older/rarities
really shine as well, really a super show all around!
This show really means alot to me, now more than ever. These STL shows
really meant much more than just the show itself, seeing them with great
friends and being lucky enough to have them be so enjoyable was always a
treat and I will never forget them. Here's another one of them for all the
fans to now enjoy!!!
A very special thanks to my great friends who I got to witness and enjoy
this show with, as well as SiriusJoe, not only one of those friends, but
also the one who without his help and expertise would mean none of these
shows would be cranking the airwaves!!
Release Notes:
As always, feel free to share this anywhere you'd like, MP3 is fine for
personal use, but please don't distribute in that format. Please do not
alter/remaster/matrix this release. A great deal of effort went into
capturing and producing this recording, and we would prefer it to
remain as we have presented it. Your cooperation will encourage many
more releases in the future.
