(009523) Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel 1993-10-05 The Paramount Theater New York, NY AT-340 Master (16-bit) (FLAC)

I needed a break from all the McCartney shows so I reached into a pile of tapes and came up with this recording. Strangely enough I had no recollection of the performance. Looking at my old tape trade list it said it was a Master Aud recording. "I recorded this show?" Still no recollection. Figured I better RIP it and see what it is. When I heard familiar talking on the tape, I figured there must be some truth to the rumor. Digging through ticket stubs I found the ticket. More evidence that I was there. After going through the entire recording, it started coming back to me but yet is still a foggy memory.

Fairly decent recording, the deck I used that night auto adjusted the levels so at times the crowd was louder than the show. Fortunately, that was a rare occurrence as the audience was very polite for the majority of the show.

Labeled “The Concert of a Lifetime” it was a career retrospective of Paul Simon, technically a Paul Simon concert with guest stars. Artie being the biggest and featured the most. They did 21 shows at the Paramount Theater, which is below Madisin Square Garden and these days referred to as The Theater at MSG. There were a few select shows in other cities.

Contract Clause: There is a "Two of Us" recording from the same night and as that taper suspected they are missing the final track.
