Notes:
First time seeing Def Leppard since the summer of 2016. The setlist in the States
does not seem to change much outside of a few songs, so that is why I have
declined seeing them lately. I also ignored the "Stadium Tour" in 2022 as ticket
prices were a bit crazy to get close. Thankfully, they added more dates in 2023
and the tickets for this show were discounted to only $25 during a weekend sale.
I bought a ticket in the rear bowl and found an empty near the left hanging side
PA. Unfortunately, during "This Guitar", a gentleman came to take his seat I was
in, so I had to relocate at the end of that song 18 rows up and a little more over
to the side. My view of the stage went from awesome to meh, but the good news
is the sound really did not change all that much. We had some wind throughout the
set, so there is some phasing on this (especially the first couple songs), but it
gets better as the show goes on. We hardly had any during Mötley's set. Alice Cooper
was the first on and it was a wind tunnel with the sound swirling about. Did not
even bother rolling for him. Def Leppard always sound great live, this is no
exception! One final note - at the Columbus stop, Def Leppard took the stage at
715pm and played until 845pm. Mötley followed taking the stage promptly at 915pm.
Co-headline with Mötley Crüe [also recorded], Alice Cooper opened [not recorded].
